Stewartia monadelpha (orangebark stewartia) is one of the truly spectacular trees for fall color. It grows best in zones 6-8 in partial shade. It is slow growing to 15 feet in ten years, eventually reaching 25 feet. This Stewartia is dotted with saucer shaped white flowers in June and July. It has cinnamon brown bark and is perfect for a  small yard…puts on a show year-round.
