Victorians had a tool, gadget for every part of life and gardening is no exception. This is a perfect example, a Fern Trowel. It is a traditional tool developed by Victorian gardeners originally created with 'nook and cranny' ferns in mind. It just so happens that it's a great transplant tool for any part of the garden. It was one solid piece of stainless steel with a hardwood handle embedded in one side of the stainless steel. Indestructible. Overall length is 12". Well made Burgon and Ball tool.
