I have to be perfectly honest about this one. I have gone back and forth about whether or not to carry it. We don't like to carry EVERY tool because it's too confusing. This one intrigued me so I thought I would see what happens. Evidently, it's one of the "oldest hoe designs in the world". Interesting claim. The Chelsea Eye Hoe comes in two pieces. This one is a shorter handled version. The more you use it, the more secure it becomes. NO hardware connecting the shaft to the metal hoe. It is definitely heavy duty and worth a try. It is also called a grubbing hoe because it does the dirty work of breaking up very hard soil. You bring it up high and the weight of the heavy metal helps pull it down. You can use it with one or two hands. Aggression reliever. 15" handle. If you have first hand knowledge and use a tool like this, please tell me what you think about it. I'd like to share the information.
