In my pruning zeal, I have broken or "sprung" more loppers than I care to remember. Finally, I found some that stand up to my determination to "do it all". The Felco #21 pruning loppers are 25" long (not sure why they're not called #25's) and have solid-forged light metal handles, cushion stops, a sap groove on the anvil blade and the famous Felco fine blade adjustment. It cuts up to 1.5" in diameter with ease. The red handles make it easy to spot. If I only had someone to follow behind me and clean up!
