The Fork Tipped Trowel by Bonsai has a notch at the tip. The idea behind the notch in this Japanese trowel is to cut stubborn roots. It does double duty as a trowel and as a deep weeder. The edge is beveled so it is sharp. It has inch measurements on the blade which is always welcome. The sharp blade has a bit of a tilt in it for good leverage. It has a handy little hanger just in case you are neat and don't throw your tools in a bucket like me.
