The New Zealand Weeder is one of those "stumbled upon" tools. A few summers ago very nice couple from New Zealand looked over all these tools and said, "but you don't have the one tool everyone in New Zealand uses!" He tried to explain it to me and I didn't "get it" so I ordered 3. It's the darndest thing! You can really do some very detailed, serious weeding with one. I'm guessing (at least so far) we're the only ones in the U.S. who have them. Very, very handy in containers. And they're from New Zealand! Friend and plant nut, Peter, just told me he uses it for the cracks in his brick path to pull out the grass and weeds. This is the ORIGINAL with a red handle.
